A Human hair product must be washed in the following way
- Prior to washing, remove all knots and tangles paying particular attention to the nape section as this is the area the wig/hairpiece will tangle the most due to collars rubbing against the nape and general perspiration
- Gently massage the wig/hairpiece using a shampoo for dry, damaged and chemically treated hair, as the human hair has been coloured previously
- Rinse off the shampoo thoroughly leaving no trace of shampoo, a second wash can be done if necessary
- Gently condition the wig/hairpiece running the conditioner through the wig/hairpiece from top to bottom. Use a conditioner for dry, damaged and chemically treated hair, leave in the hair for at least 15 minutes
- Rinse off the conditioner leaving no residue of conditioner
- Gently pat dry the wig and put onto a wig block for styling, comb through the wig gently before blow drying. With a hairpiece gently pat dry and leave on a flat surface to dry
-For blonde shades of human hair wigs/hairpieces, you need to deep treat these, by applying a small amount of serum or intensive conditioner before blow drying or styling. These need extra care and may need to be monthly
-Blow dry the wig/hairpiece into a style as required
-For all human hair wigs/hairpieces an intensive moisturising treatment prior to direct heat due to styling is highly recommended
